I'm 37+1 and out of nowhere today a strange red mark appeared on my chin. Close up it looks like lots of tiny dots and resembles a carpet burn. I cannot think of anything touching my chin today that could have caused this.
I have googled and can really only find mention of chloasma and spider veins, neither of which it looks like. It's a round patch about 2cm across and there's a smaller patch just next to it.
Have put mugshots on my profile if anyone would be kind enough to attempt to diagnose me! I know you can get broken blood vessels in pregnancy, it just looks really odd. It's not itchy, I can't feel anything and had no idea it was there till I looked in the mirror.
Don't want to rush off phoning triage if it's just one of those pregnancy things. Any advice appreciated!
