Anyone else find their changing body fascinating?

I am currently 11 weeks and find it fascinating that afte years of being good and losing weight that even with eating very little i am starting to get a little belly as the baby grows.

I always thought I would hate it but I seem to be liking it. Am I alone in this?

you not alone, Im 28 weeks. I look at my belly everyday and think its amazing that there is a little person in there getting all it needs. And soon there it will be in your arms depending on you for everything.
My belly its my little incubator.

wait 'til you can see an outline of a foot. Currently 34 weeks and loving my bump, not so sure about the bit where baby comes out and then needs feeding, changing etc and screams though. I guess I'll get used to that too though.

I wake up in the middle of the night holding it, then just lie there happily stroking my belly for an hour or so. I've even woken DP up a few times: "look, it's growing". "mmmmhmmmm, go back to sleep you crazy lady" I'm 18 weeks & it seems like it's growing each day.

awww I want to start getting a bump :( I am currently coming up to 10 weeks and just have a podge! probably due to all the rubbish canadian food I had on my skiing holiday this last week! I am sooo needing vegetables!!! crazy all they had were chips! Yuck!

When did you start getting a bump? or noticing something different? what were the first signs?

I have my scan in a few weeks and so nervous about it!

About 13 weeks your uterus will pop over your pelvic bone. At 10 weeks I'm afraid it probably is still just podge! By which I mean a bit of extra fat maybe and water retention and a bit of intestines being shoved upwards a little. If you're anything like me it will literally pop out overnight.
