HI there

this is number 2 for me - I can't remember how far gone I was when I felt DS move for the 1st time, but am getting concerned that so far all I can feel is WInd (I think).

Also - when you all had your 12 week scan's - how much did the baby move around? DS was bouncing off the walls, bu tthis one was much quiter. I knwo it's a good sign if they are active.

pleas ereassure me as i don't have another scan for a few weeks....

I'm 17 weeks pg with no.3 and all I've felt so far are fluttery movements which may or may not be wind. No definite movements yet.

At the 12 week scan this baby was jigging about up and down a bit. Ds2 (now 2) was very active but ds1 (now 5) was very laidback and hardly moved at all. Each one seems to be very different IME.

Hiya

I'm 30 wks with ds2 and didn't feel any proper movement till at least 20 weeks. Little babe moves lots now, I think it may be to do with the position of the placenta this time round (on the front of my uterus, and acts like a cushion). I was desperate to feel movement from about 16 weeks and it seemed like a long wait! Feel fine now though, in fact quite often tell him to calm down these days!

P.S. DS2 is no 3 for me too.

Hi there. I am 38+5 with my first. I didn't feel any movements that I could definitely say were the baby until 19 weeks and then in hindsight could see that I had been feeling it since around 14 weeks but just wasn't 100% sure that it was the baby.

Mine was moving a little at the 12 weeks scan, but was by no means thrashing around wildly!!

Ds - all over the place during scans, first movements about 19/20 weeks...healthy, relatively laid-back child.

Dd - not particularly active during scans, first movements about 18 weeks...healthy, incredibly active child.

OK?

thanks guys - always get a little nervous before scans....

ALso - becaus ei have this fibroid growing in there too i am a bit more sensitive about everything and always worrying that its getting really big and interfering with the baby
