Show goes on & on...?

Am 40+1...

Had a bloody show yesterday at about 7pm. Clear mucus tinged with pink.

20 hrs later I am getting the same thing when I wipe. From books/antenatal I thought it was meant to be a one off 'show'- not continuous.

It is only when I wipe- nothing on sanitary pad.

Does this sound normal?

Have you not heard the expression "the show must go on"?

Sorry - couldn't resist Grin

Can't help I'm afraid as I know nothing about giving birth (yet)

A show can come away gradually, can be different with everyone. Check with m/w though as quick call is always reassuring.

you can lose your plug over a few days/weeks , it does reform and can continue to be lost.. you can lose more in labour too.

it sounds perfectly normal to me, but i'm not a MW, so if you want reassurance, you could phone labour ward?=, as duckmum has advised
