Poor you, Claire Sad
Have you spoken to your midwife? It sounds very uncomfortable! Could it almost be practice contractions?

I would get in touch with your midwife. If you're in enough pain for tears I would definitely get some advice and reassurance. Hope you feel better soon xx

Definitely speak to your midwife. She will be able to reassure you, and might be able to get you in to check you out. They would always prefer you to call them if you are worried or in pain than to suffer!

Give your little girl a cuddle. Smile She will make you feel better!

Let us know what the midwife says.

Maybe the baby is in breech? When my DD turned around it was awful, I could feel her head under my ribs, I almost cried and couldn't sleep all night - couldn't sit, couldn't stand, lie down, you get the picture.

Any news, Claire?

msbossy · 24/02/2011 18:29

I have one friend who's son broke her rib, and another who suffered from kidney stones during pregnancy... Not sure your pain sounds the same as they described but def get yourself checked out!

it has settled a little now the baby has stopped moving as much but its still sore....going to lie in a hot bath try and relax a little...i am completely drained with this pain :(

Claire, please do speak to your midwife about this...

Melly19MummyToBe · 24/02/2011 20:21

Maybe SPD? My sister had that with both of hers, its where your hips spread too wide and she said it hurts really bad right up the middle. Some days she couldn't walk! But I agree with pookamoo speak to your midwife.

pookamoo · 26/02/2011 14:05

How are you today, Claire?

EdgarAleNPie · 26/02/2011 14:07

or a UTI. when the baby moves it's shocking.
might be fixable -
see the midwife
