how late can you get a positive test ?

i am 6 days late have used first reponse and cheappy test still negative.

yet all the signs morning sickness , sore boobs, moods etc

i have 2 dc's and had a mc last year at 18 weeks :( so i am going through torture

any advice ?

I was 4 weeks late when I got a positive! Are you certain you've got your dates right?

I was 2-3 wks late (irregular cycle so not entirely sure what's what - can't wait for my scan to set me straight).
