Anyone used one? Was it effective? That's all really! Thanks Smile

Well I'm sitting on mine now and at the moment its doing nothing :( if you google videos tho it should come up with ways to use it. Let me know if you find anything that helps :) x

Thanks both. My back is killing, even lying down hurts Sad. Will give it a shot, if nothing else I can use it to help get back into shape post birth (in theory)...

I love mine, it eases my braxton hicks if I bounce and rock my hips in circles, and when my back is sore I sit on it, leaning forward with my head on a chair and it sort of stretches out my lower back, with my bump hanging between ball and chair! Sounds awful, and I look daft but it feels fab!

Thanks RockChick. What other 'exercises' can people recommend to help ease the killing back?

oooh yay purchased one yesterday, am loving it! every time an advert comes with some upbeat music I'm bopping to the beat - would highly recommend it!!

Can I ask which one you got, Annpann88?

I'm torn between a Reebok one, which has a DVD that I figure might come in useful after birth. Or a cheaper ProFitness one (no DVD).

I got mine for £5 from Tesco. It's a lurid pink colour but other than that great. It's totally eased my sciatica and I find it more comfortable than our sofa (when I can get DH to stop using it as a footrest).

i got a birthing ball from amazon for gbp17... to be honest, it is not different from a gym ball. just make sure that whatever you buy has an anti-burst feature -- this is very important as you do not want to demage yourself when you get heavier...
