Today, at work, I asked my colleague if she would like a cup of coffee.

I went to the kitchen, I filled the kettle with water...

...I put the kettle in the fridge.

I have nothing more to say Blush

Gosh it's awful! I keep forgetting what I want to say mid sentence.

Yesterday I had a bath, dried my hair, set off into town. It was only when running my hands through my hair at the gym that I realised my hair was sticking up and all, well, sticky. Had forgotten to wash the shampoo out!! I blow dried it and everything!!

I was on a training course last week - and walked into the bar with one of my bras trailing from my jumper.....

Oh god, the shame Blush

Oh no, just had another one...

Watching Catchphrase (sad, I know) with DP, he told me three times what the answer was, I was too busy reading this / not paying attention until I looked up & said "RUBBER BAND!" and he was like Hmm "...yeah..." Blush

My work diary is a daily To Do list or I will forget just about everything. DH has become very good at working out what the whatsit in the thingy actually means although I have shouted at him for not understanding me in the supermarket when I sent him for some. . of. . .those. . .things - you know - stop looking at me like that - baked bloody beans!
Most of my sentences end with . . .pause. . .sorry its gone.
And when my friend first became pregnant and started doing this I was so unaccepting and thought it was a load of BS - so sorry now!

This thread is so reassuring. I'm normally a very focussed efficient person and it feels so strange to have lost that.

I find myself wandering round aimlessly, not able to find words or saying the wrong ones and not being on the ball at work at all. I work with young people and have just had to make fun out of myself and apologise to them for getting things wrong when they're trying hard to learn something. I'm only 5weeks + 4!

Oh well, DP finds it very funny but is also being very understanding.

A few weeks ago I went out for lunch with friends and only realised half way thru that I was wearing my slippers.
And yesterday discovered a full glass of orange juice in the kitchen cupboard with the tins and jars Confused

Have just made myself a cafetere of DeCaf, poured my drink and carried on cooking, carefully wiped my beautiful fresh Croad Langshan egg, felt a bit sad about not having an incubator and cracked it .... straight into my coffee - Eeeyuk

I was worse at start so all of you at 5 or 6weeks it may get better... or not! Moved keys at work and denied all knowledge until blue in face and then someone came in and said I saw you put them there oops! Still didn't ring any bells even when they told me where they were. Confused

Went to my doctors appointment yesterday, sat there in the waiting room for 25 minutes (the nurse was running late) before realising that a fasting blood test generally requires you to not eat breakfast... had to confess my sins to the receptionist (v.understanding on the baby brain front but did tell me it never gets any better! Shock) & rebook!

Oh the shame!

I've had more today...

Got back from shopping and unpacked bags - put toilet roll in the shower and shower gel on back of loo.

As I was getting off the train I got car keys out of bag and tried to go through ticket barriers with them.

Wore my new maternity dress all day with the label still in it.

I had a discussion with a friend today. She was trying her best to convince me it was Wed. I was
saying, no, it's Tuesday.

When it dawned on me she was right I felt so dumb.
