Hello,

I have an appointment coming up with my doctor and he tod me to make sure I eat 2 hours before I go as he'll be doing a test. I thought nothing of it, but now I am confused (and a bit worried why he needs to do another test). Does anyone know what test he could be doing? I am not in the UK so might not be a standard test that they do on the NHS.

Thanks!

Blood sugar? Iron levels?

If he's said make sure you eat it does sound more like he's interested in your health rather than concerned about the baby. I wouldn't be worried about it too much unless you have had any pregnancy problems so far. Remember the NHS do test you constantly every few weeks in your third trimester and before for things like iron and they test your urine constantly too. Sounds like its just a standard test that you shouldn't worry yourself about.
