I just want to say what I said in the title line basically!
I'm 34 weeks and I can't WAIT to meet my son. I never thought this would happen for us and even though I'm still in the 'this is surreal' mind state, I am very excited to be a mum rather than an expectant one!

How does everyone else feel? What are you most looking forward to? I can't wait to see what he looks like! EXCITED!!!!

Im looking forward to getting to 34 weeks with no more scares or mishaps for a start!!
Lovely that you are so excited, really looking forward to getting to that stage myself. Dont jump up and down too vigorously though...not for a few more weeks anyway! x

Isn't it fab?

Enjoy the rest of your pregnancy, swollen ankles permitting, and look after yourself when he's born.

Each and every time it hits me what a miracle it all is (and I'm the least religious person I know).

You're 9 weeks ahead of me but I am right behind you with the feeling excited thing! Have to stop myself grinning all day long.

Like you, I never thought this would happen for us (preggo with an IVF baby)and can't wait to meet my son. I am having a c-sec at 39 weeks - just 14 weeks to go!!!!

DH and I are spending lots of time talking about what we're looking forward to - I can't wait to (in no particular order):

  • breastfeed (and see that sleepy/ milk drunk face)
  • cuddle baby skin to skin
  • look at his features (who will he look like)
  • see DH hold his son for the first time
Grin

Me too!! I'm 38 weeks tomorrow and I am absolutley beaming, so happy and excited, but also anxious and nervous about the birth, but I can't wait to see his little face either. I tell him everyday that it's okay if he wants to come out now because it would be okay now and that would make mummy really happy!

Me too! I'm nearly 34 weeks and can't wait either. Sometimes I get bogged down in other stresses and feel fed up but I dream about the baby quite often and when I do I just wake up overwhelmed with excitement to meet him :)

Ohhhhh me too! Im only 25 weeks and still can't quite believe that in 15 or so weeks I will be going into hospital and coming out with a little baby girl :o Im driving myself insane wondering who she will look like the most and whose nose she will have :) It's so EXCITING!!!! :o

I feel really quite emotional reading this thread - its so lovely - and really just sums up everything about pregnancy, the wait, the excitement- and all those special times ahead.

I am 21 weeks with my 2nd child. I have a 2 year old boy and have enjoyed every single moment with him since he has been born- it really did change my life way bigger than i would ever have imagined- i always used to sort of "snigger" at people in work who would say "nothing truly prepares you for having a baby and the way you will feel for this tiny human being" etc

They were all right - its the most overwhelming (in a good way) feeling in the world. At times it can be hard, tiring, challenging but the most rewarding job you will ever do in your life.

Hope all of you enjoy it as much as me xxxx

My little lady is 4 months now, we had some difficulties before her and the first trimester was a very scary time for me. I felt EXACTLY like you do now at that stage and can I say it just gets better and better and grows and grows. I imagine I might just burst some days I feel so much love for her!!
