Struggling to eat but hungry - Third Trimester

Hi all, I am now 29 weeks and this is my first pregnancy. I just made some lunch, two pieces of wholegrain toast with lovely organic peanut butter. When I started to eat it I got instantly breathless and unable to eat more than one piece.

Same thing happened last night at dinner when I was trying to get through some soup. Very aware that I have to ensure I am eating for my baby but I just can't seem to cope with much.

Anyone else going through the same. Not sure if it's normal or not.

Does it maybe have something to do with the position of the baby? Maybe it's pushing into your stomach or something?

Sorry, I'm a first-timer, too, that's the only thing I can think off... Sounds very uncomfortable, poor you!

If it's really worrying you, I'd call the midwife, even if it's nothing to worry about, I'm sure they won't mind!
