I'm 14 weeks today and definitely still in denial. We're planning on telling people this weekend and I'm worried that will make things seem a lot more real and therefor scary. We were going to wait another couple of weeks until just before we go on holiday, so we have a week away when people can't phone us and ask questions like "ooh, and you don't know where you are going to be living in August do you - whatever are you going to do!?" etc, which I am dreading...

Thinking about it, I don't think I have said the words "I am pregnant" out loud to anyone yet except the GP's receptionist. I just showed DH the test stick and looked at him Smile. He looked right back Shock and then Grin.

My current line is "I don't believe I'm actually pregnant" to which DH replies "well there are just a few pointers... the morning sickness... the bigger boobs... the 2 positive tests and the 3 missed periods... the thing we saw wriggling about on the scan". Somehow I'm still Hmm...

I'd assumed that once I can feel it moving around it would hit me - but from your post Bumparoo I'm guessing I could be in denial for a bit longer yet!

I'm 23 weeks and I think I'm still in denial.

I suspect I may remain so until they plonk a baby on me and expect me to know what to do with it!
