Just wondering if anyone has a link or some information on dreams in pregnancy.
I can't remember where I heard this, but did hear that if you dream of one particular sex the child will usually turn out to be the opposite.
I dreamt of a girl and even named her in my dream but both scans show he is a boy. My friend and I were discussing this last night as she has had a similar dream and were wondering if there is any truth to it. Any ideas?

Both my mom and grandfather dreamt that ds was going to be a girl. Also, my mom dreamt that I was going to be a boy but it is obivious I'm not. I never had any dreams about the sex of baby last time and haven't had any so far.

yeah I dreamt this baby was a girl and I am pretty convinced it's a boy...
but I also dreamt I had dirty sex with Justin from Tikkabilla so not sure it's reliable

Hold on hc, by that logic, you dreamt about having dirty sex with Justin from Tikkabilla, and lo and behold, you did have dirty sex with Juston from Tikkabilla. Otherwise it would still be a reliable method of telling. Is there something you want to tell us?

Buffy, totally get you with the Justin thing - why is it that women are attracted to men that would be good with children when they are pregnant and men are still attracted to tarts the whole time!

You are all mad. If you want to hanker after children's presenters it has to be Matt from Blue Peter . Extremely cute, good with animals and children, from the North-east, plus bendy (used to be gymnastics star). What more could you want from a man?

I dreamt in early preganacy I was having a girl - and had a girl!

I had a really vivid dream while pregnant with dd that I gave birth to my pet cat. I even dreamt I was breast feeding it - how gross is that! Had a dd thankfully!

Dreamt i had a boy and had a girl. Dreamt Marilyn Manson married my mum , got signed off work for 2 weeks afterthat! My mum wasn't best pleased either!

With DD I knew practically straight after the deed I was pregnant and with a girl, 2 weeks later I dreamt I saw 2 blue lines on a pregnancy test, 3 days later I did but knew the result. Always knew DD was a girl if they had said boy at the scan I would have fallen off the table. During my pregnancy often had dreams with a blonde blue eyed baby girl in them, yes DD is blonde haired blue eyed.

This time again I knew straight away I was pregnant but was not convinced of the sex at all, it was only when I had the same feelings as DD that I thought it might be a girl but still not sure. Had a dream recently I was cuddling a dark haired brown eyed baby boy, shade of brown eyes really like DPs. But had a scan and am having another girl.

I believe your body has to be ready to be pregnant and until it is you won't get pregnant, also with me something inside just told me I was pregnant.
