Fed Up!

Help! Am 31wks and really fed up today. Ended up in hospital last night with horrible low down pains (which I've had for a while but were much worse yesterday) and my stomach tensing up. They said I had SPD which I don't know much about but nothing I found on the internet said anything about these spasms my womb is having - they're not braxton hicks and they're definately not labour contractions (they did a very expensive test to determine I wasn't in labour!)

Still feel really sick and queasy, plus my ears hurt - seen GP who told me to use olive oil to clear my ears out and prescribed me cimetidine (tagamet) for the queasiness, which I looked up to find it said for stomach acid. Its not an acidy sickness - I feel sick and my ears hurt as in this might be a bug and not pregnancy related thank you very much

So my tummy hurts, I feel crap and I'm stressed out cos I wanted to get loads done at work today and I have had to have the day off - and I suspect my husband and boss my force me into taking tomorrow off too. Oddly enuf, I feel better at work than at home...

Help - I feel a really fed up pregnancy paddy coming on!

sorry, no suggestions, only sympathy. i'm also 31 weeks, and it's basically not a great time is it, so near & yet so far & all that. It must be so much worse when you're feeling unwell & even more so when you don't get it sorted. At least boss & dh seem to be looking after you - can't remember the last time I got to have any time off, apart from when I was in hospital after the delivery of ds2, which is why I'm opting for another hospital birth!
Seriously though, I really hope things ease off soon. If not, do you feel up to seeing gp again? Let us know how you get on.

I'm fed up too, but only 20-ish weeks. I've lost count. 22 weeks I think.

It sounds horrible anyway - I remember having stomach pains in late pg last time (only mine was a kind of windy pain that seemed to go on forever - not as bad as yours).

Hope you feel better soon. Maybe some catalogues/ a bath / some icecream will help?
