I wrote a thread yesterday about braxton hicks. I have been having lower back pain and lower abdo pain since 4pm yesterday. It seems to getting more painful as the night went on. I feel a sleep at one point as I was sooo tired. I have had very little sleep and have turned over all night. Left to right right to left. I have got up for the loo several times it makes it worse! I really can say I dont know anymore weather this is it or not it just seems to be taking a long time if so?! Although I had a 5 day slow labour with my DS. I cant catch up on sleep as there are road works outside the house wish they would piss off!! Although that is not what woke me up the pains did!! The pains are long and there is a pattern I think but not enough to go to hospital. I have had pains before that end up being nothing. Fed up and Confused anyone else like this or and advise? Going to get some paracetamol and Brew

If you're really worried it might be labour of that something might be wrong, go to your preganancy unit or A&E and ask for an assessment.
If you're going to A&E you should lay it on a bit thick about being worried and it not being your first or they're likely to send you home!
I had BH for ages before labour, but it was dead obvious when it was real labour and no BH, I have to say. If it's not yourfirst, trust your instinct about which this is...
All the best!!

Thanks WhatTheWhat thats just it my instincts are not sure its all a mess! So Im going to hang around until the contractions take my breath away! I can remembmer that much from the other pregnancy. I knew when it was real labour then! And guess this one will be no different! Thanks for the re assurance though. Im going to hang on in there and see what happens. Im sure when the proper ones kick in it will all come flooding back...... Grin
