Im getting fed up of thses contractions?! Its my 2nd preg and dont remember any of this with my first. They come and get stronger and then go away they bulid up to the point of where I think its time to go to the hospital. I have been a few weeks ago and nothing was going on accept a infection which I took an internal tablet for. The contractions are back today been having them for 4hrs now and they are getting on my nerves my back aches and I have tried a glass of water and lygin on my left side. It seemed to help a little but then I needed a wee so had to get up and there off again! Anyone else had this? Im very tired and dont know if that can paly a part in it? Hard to sleep and be comfortable and other things like frekin roadworks at 8am this weekend outside the house!

COuld have been me writing that!

I'm expecting my 4th and they're so uncomfortable sometimes (I'm 36 wks) that I joke to my other half I need the gas and air! Had them very had with ny 2nd, to the point when 3-4 times I was convinced I was in labour. But wasn't.

When you get a run of them, do the following. If it's labour, none of this willmake then go away and they'll get stronger and stronger. If it's not labour they should fade:

Go to the loo
Take paracetomol
Drink a load of water, squash etc
Walk - around the necessary
Take a bath.

BTW I read recently that if BH is accompanied your probably in labour. But that's not true - the discomfort I have spread into my back - and it's not labour.

let me know if any of this helps! And I hope mine comes before yours cos I'm FED UP now!! x

Its just really hard to know when to go to hospital or not feel like such a silly mare! Also the hospital is 20 25 mins away then its 4 quid plus for parking and were trying not to spend much as its expencive so want to go when I think its deffo happening but I really cant tell sometimes! I hope your ok and the baby comes soon but not too soon!! Good luck Smile I did everything on the list accept take a bath. I have a hard job getting in and out of the shower!! Sad
