After sex with DH last night, i went to the loo and there was pinky stuff on the paper.... is this likely to have been a show or just DH being a bit rough?!

Was still abit more there about 30 mins later, but nothing this morning.

Wouldnt say there was masses of the stuff, just enough that i could see it was stringy and pink.

Sorry - TMI i know, but ive never had a show and dont know if it was it or not!

Don't want to get your hopes up but sounds like a show to me. I had a show after having sex when I was pregnant with my ds and labour started shortly afterwards.

Found this on Baby Centre - "You may notice the appearance of a bloody show (a brownish or blood-tinged mucus discharge). If you pass the mucus plug that blocks the cervix, labour could be imminent ? or it could be several days away. Still, it's a sign that things are moving along."

Thanks girls.... im just not sure. My vision of a show was LOADS of pinky gunky stuff, but this was just while i wiped.

As long as things are moving, im happy!

but you can have a show ages before you go into labour...sorry...my consultant was untterly uninterested in the fact that I had had a show when I had my overdue appointment...

but hope thats not the case for you!

DH had a bit of a panic last night when he wiped himself up and found pinky stuff.... bless his heart!

I had a show last time about 30 mins after my waters broke, it was very link pink and gloppy.

Sometimes after sex I have a bit of bleeding but thats red blood completely different.

Sounds like a show to me too (although don't get your hopes up)

if its any help...my show was definitely a gunky, thick lump with pink streaks

meant it was very light pink (my brain seriously isn't working today)

so im looking at about another week of being pg then!

my show when i was induced was just a bit of pinky dischareg..nothing exciting..lol Although have heard it can appear up to 2 wks before you go into labour.

mine was like pink-streaked snot (well... it is a TMI thread...!)
and went into labour early the next morning.

Beety - i intend to - that was my 3rd session in 24 hours last night! DH thinks its christmas!!!

Whenever dp & I have sex, its always in the spoons position with him behind me (ha ha obviously!!) Anyway, in that position, my perineum gets rubbed & it always bleeds afterwards. Today, it looked slightly pink on the loo paper when I had a pee. Nothing jelly- like, just a pinky tinge. Was that way TMI??
