Just in the last couple of days I've had a tensing feeling really low down/just above groin. It happens when I'm walking a long and when I'm tired in the evening.

Its really freaking me out - didn't have this with first pregnancy.

Have wondered if its Braxton Hicks - but it feels like the baby is really kicking and moving.

Its the fact that it is sooo low down and that it stops me walking that makes me slightly concerned.

Has anyone else had anything like this at this stage?

is it their head ? I can feel the baby headbutting my cervix sometimes, also can feel the hands really low down under my knicker elastic ! probably too tight !

I don't know what it is ...

The last time I saw a midwife (about 3 weeks ago) she said the baby was head down - but I'm sure that can change.

I carried DS really low too - 4 years ago.

But this is really a lot of movement. It feels like somersaulting or dancing - which is strange i think whilst I'm walking.

The feeling is horrible. I can feel it on my tummy, but also on my bladder and bowel (I think). It makes me wince and suddenly feel like I need the toilet. Hence stopping in the street and not being able to carry on walking.

Well I've had lots of kicking and pain/discomfort low down. I have got a low placenta if that makes any difference and now i have developed SPD and walk like I've pooed myself most of the time!

This is my second baby and the pregnancy is so different. Maybe it is quite literally a 'pain in the arse' girl this time?!?! Smile

I had and have lots of kicking very low down in groin but both of mine were and are in breech. I guessed both times that they were the wrong way round by the weird kicking movements so low down but t midwife said it was a lucky guess - in my mind I still thought I was quite perceptive!

Oh, maybe that is what has happened gillykins. Maybe the baby has turned up the other way than it was when I was last checked.

I'm seeing the midwife on Monday so will ask her then.
