I am feeling exactly the same. There were actual tears this morning when trying (and trying being the word!) to get ready for work. Am now even out growing certain maternity clothes. How far along are you?

BarbieLovesKen · 18/02/2011 16:34

X posts, im 15 with number 3 but was very bloated from day 1.

lolajane2009 · 18/02/2011 16:59

lol my trousers are hanging off and my tops are stretched to capacity. my body is a game of two halves. i am 10+3.

PukeyMummy · 18/02/2011 17:40

Yep, me too, 14 weeks with DC2 and I'm already the size I was at 4-5 months with DD. I was hugely bloated from the start and my hips grew expanded sideways immediately - at about day four after conception I couldn't get my normal jeans on!

Got out my old maternity clothes but with DD I got away with just going up a size until around 7 months, so I don't have much other than summer stuff Sad. Once summer arrives I'll be sorted.

My old maternity jeans were all hopeless - can't believe how much my body seems to have changed in a couple of years.

Have bought myself some leggings - flipping freezing though and I only have about 2 or 3 outfits that work and don't look awful.

lolajane2009 · 18/02/2011 17:43

will normal leggings work throughout pregnancy?

diyqueen · 18/02/2011 18:01

lolajane, yep - just make sure you get ones that sit low-ish on the hips then they'll always be under the bump. I found H&M's regular ones good (and much cheaper than maternity ones) - still wearing them comfortably at 35 weeks.

lolajane2009 · 18/02/2011 19:08

thankyou for answer diyqueen

lol i have loads in various sizes due to fast weight lost... might wear them once i get bigger as they are technically free

PukeyMummy · 18/02/2011 20:28

I'm currently wearing normal Boden leggings (they get fab reviews) and they feel pretty comfy. I've also bought some of their maternity ones for later on in my pregnancy.

I also got some normal leggings from M&S and they seemed good too.

And I am not a leggings person!

nicolamumof3 · 18/02/2011 20:43

i am wearing normal next leggings folded down under bump at 18+6

First post although been looking for a while...

So relieved to read these posts...I am only 4 wks and spent the whole day yesterday with my jeans undone under my top!! Didn't want to tell my OH as he already thinks my other symptoms are in my mind!!

Stocking up on leggings tomorrow..!

jbob01 · 18/02/2011 21:15

Ps. I'm totally rocking the whole four boob look...not pretty!
