Nausea, déjà vu and dizziness. Morning sickness or more sinister?

Suddenly yesterday morning, I had an episode of nausea, but with overwhelming and disturbing feelings of déjà vu and dream-like flashbacks with dizziness. It probably lasted about 5 minutes and happened again half a dozen times over the day. Same today. My body temperature seems to go haywire too.

I haven't had a positive test yet - it's too early (AF due in 3 days) - but a bunch of the typical symptoms make me think I'm a couple of weeks pregnant. If I'm right, this will be my first pregnancy. I'm 31.

Is this just morning sickness? I don?t actually feel like I want to be sick. If anything, I'm feeling this more in my bowels. I don't have a headache with it so I don't think it's a migraine. But snacking regularly on small amounts of food seems to be helping a lot.

I was diagnosed with slightly low blood pressure as a teenager and I've also had problems with hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) in the past. But I've been managed these really well with diet and exercise. So now I'm thinking that maybe it's pregnancy just making both these things worse and bringing on these odd symptoms.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I can?t get in to see my GP until Monday afternoon, so any advice would be great!

I quite often felt like that with my morning sickness, but also sometimes pre af, I have low blood pressure and haywire blood sugar levels, so I've come to the conclusion that hormones in general make it worse! Fingers crossed you get your bfp though, though if it is morning sickness you'll have to force yourself to eat even when you really don't want to to keep that blood sugar under control.

Thank you ellangirl for reassuring me that I?m not probably going loopy or developing a brain tumour or worse! I couldn?t find any mentions of these kinds of symptoms with suspected pregnancy anywhere so I was starting to worry.

I?m planning to take a test in a couple of days, so fingers crossed. But this is just the first month of trying for us after me being on the pill for ages, so could well be AF as I?ve not had a chemical-free one in years and can't remember what it was like!

Did you find that eating anything in particular helped control the symptoms or made them worse?

Eating anything helps really, I suffered very badly with morning sickness, and really didn't want to eat as everything made me want to puke! So, anything I could face was a bonus! I had rich tea biscuits by the bed and I ate before I got up as otherwise I felt too dire. Morning sickness for me was like a constant state of seasickness, and feeling like I was going to faint. Some people are just more prone to the physical effects of hormones I think.
