I'm 30 weeks and have got a thrombosed pile. It is the most excruciating pain ever - I didn't manage to get any sleep at all last night.

Would rather go through labour!

Went to the gp and have some strong anaesthetic cream and codeine, which is taking the edge off but still so painful.

At one point last night I had a warm bath and purposely held my foot under the hot tap so the pain there would detract from it! It is that bad!

Ah, the glamorous side of pregnancy...

Oh, poor you :( I've got piles again in this pregnancy although not as badly as the first time around. I hope the next 10 weeks fly by for you!

I sympathise with this as I've had piles all through my pregnancy (now 39 weeks).. thrombosed piles - are they the ones that come out from you internally? I have one that hurts but I can push it back in and it feels MUCH better when I do this - Sorry tmi!! If you can try this be gentle - it might help. Also be careful of the codeine - it makes constipation worse.

Yes they come out and then form blood clots so can't go back in which is why they are so so painful.

Feeling a bit better today, still can' sit down but not crying in agony and managed to get some sleep last night.

Honestly don't understand people who enjoy pregnancy, I seem to have had every horrible side-effect going!
