Hi

Just really need a moan and hope nobody minds. I'm on my third horrible cold since January, I've had this one for 10 days now, and suddenly just feeling really worn out and a bit down. I'm not sleeping all that well, so think it just compounds the problem. Coughing all day, so congested and

I have an hour and half commute each way to work (by train and walking), but I'm only 20 weeks so don't understand how I'm going to cope in another few weeks if I'm feeling so rotten now!

Sorry, just feeling sorry myself at the moment!

I'm exactly the same at the moment. I'm on my 4th cold and have also had 2 bouts of Flu since Christmas. The only thing that has helped me is resting as much as I possible can.

Hope you feel better soon Smile

me too. Me, Dp and DS have been passing the same virus between us since christmas. It sucks.

And me.... Had horrendous morning sickness and think that has just wiped out any immunity I had. Onto fourth flu thing but this one makes me wheeze like I am an old woman! Makes you feel really down doesn't it? I went o bed at 7.30 last night which has helped.....

Am just hoping that we get some sun soon and then start to bloom..... Take care all

It's miserable, isn't it? Do you have an understanding employer who would allow you to take a week of sick leave in order to get back on your feet? I had the same kind of commute as you and it's a killer - really wore me out in the second half of pg - and only just made it to xmas at which point I took two weeks holiday and recovered.

By the way, some train companies allow pregnant women to travel in first class for the last two months they're working. It means you always get a seat and you have a lot more room, which makes a difference as you get bigger.

Oooh - thank you! I will def look into the first class thing. I do have an understanding employer, although I'm on a contract at the moment so if I don't work, I don't get paid. Really sucks - I'm so fed up of feeling poo! Good to know I'm not alone though, I hope everyone feels better soon.
