My daughter is 24 weeks pregnant and suffering from pain in her left ribs and shoulder, she is finding it difficult to sleep as well even though she has pregnancy pillows, any one else got any ideas before she loses the plot, :)

Has she had her bp checked recently? Pain under the ribs/top of bump can be a symptom of pre-eclampsia, so would be a good idea to tell her mw ASAP if she hasn't already.

Afraid I don't have any good tips for sleeping through it though! Hope it wears off soon.

Yes she had a check up on sat and it was 110/70, but no idea what pain was.

googl rib flare. I had this when i was pg with baby ds (now 4 weeks old) he was laid awkwardly inside me and so big he pushed my right ribs outwardsa bit, the pain was horrible it was ribs and shoulder blade pain. I went to physio and they pout me on co-codomal (but not in 3rd trimester)

V shaped pillow helped me wedged between my legs under bumpand up under shoulder. I slept with my arms stretched above head to relieve pain and lots of warm baths but laying in it rather than sitting. Sitting up and driving especially made mine worse. I was often in tears towards the end.

Good new sis that the second he was pulled from me (Section) the pain had completely gone :)

I feel for your daughter, its not nice :(
