I just watched this, was slightly baffled when the model with the blue dress came out and Jason said 'this is great cos it has an intergrated bra, because obviously you cant wear under-wired while pregnant' and then Holly said 'yes of course'.
Have I missed something Hmm

TotorosOcarina · 15/02/2011 13:03

i've always been told not to wear underwired when pg too.

tokentotty · 15/02/2011 13:06

Apparently undersides bras can damage the delicate breast tissue whilst it's going through so many changes during pregnancy.

tokentotty · 15/02/2011 13:07

Hmmmm....bloomin' predictive keyboard. Sould obviously say 'underwired' !!!

justbeingmummy · 15/02/2011 13:08

Oh right, thankyou Tokentotty. How did I not know this. Been wearing mine all through my pg Blush

tokentotty · 15/02/2011 13:09

It's very annoying I find. When I'm pg my breasts have never needed more support !!

reallygrumpy · 15/02/2011 13:17

You can wear underwired when pg, you just need to get fitted regularly. I wore underwired bras ( had reg fittings at bravissimo) throughout my pg with DD and had no problems breastfeeding. I'm now 16+3, have had to go up a size but plan to wear underwired throughout this pg and then buy underwired nursing bras for bf.

Saggyoldclothcatpuss · 15/02/2011 13:26

I missed that, but definitely agreed with Gino, Holly did look like Wilma Flintstone in that outfit!

lolajane2009 · 15/02/2011 13:29

there is no proof they damage but I just find them uncomfortable.

justbeingmummy · 15/02/2011 13:32

I cant believe this never gets metioned by midwife or the such, im now 33 weeks and been wearing underwired bras and not been fitted for a while Blush. Also wore them all the way through with 1st DC! Agree with Tokentotty tho, without underwiring I think mone would be dangling by my knees Grin.
Catpuss - as soon as I saw Holly I said 'what is she wearing' so couldnt stop laughing when they said about Wilma lol

justmilkpleasenosugar · 15/02/2011 13:45

What utter rubbish (IMO) my boobs were huge even before I was pregnant not a chance in hell I wouldn't wear an under wired bra.

It's personally choice but lets be honest we all like our tits to look good, esp when the rest of us is 'growing' Grin
