Hi,
Im 8 weeks with DC3 and desperately trying to hide my tum! DP says Im really showing, esp after I have eaten, I just cant hold my tummy in at all. Nobody in RL knows I am pregnant as we have had problems in the past and would rather wait till we get the ok from the scan.
No movements yet as beany is still too tiny and according to the books, has only just started to make movements.
How far along are you?

pantaloons · 14/02/2011 21:17

I was about 8 weeks when I started to show and people commented on it, despite me not telling anyone. Movements were also really early. Can't quite remeber though!

jellyhead188 · 15/02/2011 12:22

I was feeling movement from about 9 weeks and started showing about 12 weeks!

xx

I'm 14 weeks and cant feel any movements yet (anterior placenta) but have been showing for a few weeks, maybe since week 8.
Today somebody asked me if I am pg straight out (3rd person to do so) as I look quite obviously pg now!

chelstonmum · 15/02/2011 12:36

I am 9 weeks and feel like I can no longer hold my tummy in! x

jimmijam · 15/02/2011 12:52

Im 11weeks, think my tum is more fat than bump tho, esp after a meal! Havent felt any movement yet. Felt my 1st move at around 4months, cant remember 4 my 2nd tho. Cant wait 2 feel movement, makes it more real!

With my first I didnt show till bout 6 months. 2nd was about 4 months. I am now 12 weeks, and have had a pot belly for about 3/4 weeks now!! Doubt i'll be able hide it for much longer?

jimmijam · 16/02/2011 15:05

omg im soooooooooooooo excited!!!!!
3 people at work today, and also my husband commented on my baby belly, 1 woman said i've 'popped'. i passed it off as flab, got home and took a look in the mirror-theres an actual proper baby bump! :-) and when i lie down flat it doesnt dissapear. look more like 4-5 months gone, not 11weeks.
(i know im going over the top here but im just really excited, esp as the rest of the family will be told next week (unless they spot my belly 1st).
movement from 9weeks sounds so early, must have been extra exciting 4 u then! how long was it b4 other ppl could feel baby move? i read its 2-4weeks after u can?

I showed really early and now feel totally huge and uncomfortable now at 29 wks. Cant imagine how I can get any bigger or cope for much longer - arghhh!!!! I felt few flutters from around 16 wks, but nothing too definite really until 20 wks.

growing3rdbump · 16/02/2011 20:04

DH could feel baby at around 21/22 wks from what I remember. Now there are big movements most of the day and through the night (keeping me awake!!!).

NatzCNL · 16/02/2011 21:39

I could feel both my DD's at around 15/16 weeks. Im nearly 9 weeks and getting quite excited at the prospect of feeling baby move, I loved that part of pregnancy. I loved playing poke and kick with my bump (pushing a side of the bump and the baby kicking my hand), used to have me in fits of giggles which would send the baby into spin mode!!!! Obviously much further into the pregnancy when the baby was a lot stronger and bigger.... Really looking forward to it! This will be our last baby so am savouring every moment Smile

jimmijam · 17/02/2011 11:14

same here natzcnl this will also be our last, so i want 2 do everything possible for it not 2 'just be another pregnancy' and make it more exciting, this time around we're not going 2 ask the babies gender. do u know what ur having?
the pain but the happiness of seeing your whole tummy change shape as baby moved from transverse 2 head down/ decides 2 go 4 a twirl... theres nothing like it! :-)

I agree, my DP used to wince watching the girls spinning (esp when we were nearing the end), and yes it's painful but such an amazing feeling!
We didnt find out the sex with either of our DD's, but think we will with this one because even though our DD's dont know I am pregnant yet, they are both arguing over if they will get a baby brother or sister whe mummy has another baby!!! Plus, I think I need to mentally prepare DP if it is another girl Grin
We have a dating scan next week as not entirely sure of my dates - well I am but my doctor isn't accepting it...?! Dont mind though as will get see beeny a bit earlier. I have dreamed every night that it is twins. Could be because DD1 has wanted twin brothers for as long as she has known that mummies grow babies. It's almost a weekly request from her.
Ive worked out that I am nearly 9 weeks gone which would make my due dat 25th Sept, but doc seems to think baby is due 2nd Oct. When is your due date? Have you had your scan yet?
