Severe heartburn suddenly gone at 30 weeks?!

I seem to be worrying about everything! Last week I was in agony with heartburn, throwing up at night due to reflux, driking gaviscon like juice and generally feeling rotten. This week the heartburn which has plagued me for months has suddenly disappeared despie no changes in my eating habits. I'm now worried about bubs because does I thought heartburn was due to worsen now so I wonder if this could mean my hormone relaxin levels have gone down or something? I'm still feeling wee wiggles from baby though I'm not good at tracking them as I'm always up and about, work shifts and they aren't strong because I have an anterior placenta. I'm not seeing my midwife until next week- should I contact her before then? (She's very difficult to get hold of so I'd have to ring the local birth centre), should I see my GP or should I just be grateful that the pain has gone?

It could just be that the baby has dropped down a bit, freeing up some space in your stomach. Do you feel more pressure on your bladder instead?

I don't think it sounds like anything to worry about. I would just be thankful!

I had a lot worse heart burn earlier on (am now 37 weeks) and couldn't eat a lot, but the baby seems to have shifted down now so I can eat loads and hardly get any heart burn.

I'm not expert so call the birth centre if you're really worried, but I don't think you need to be.

Enjoy the last couple of months! x
