Headache when bending forwards- is this normal?

I've noticed today and maybe yesterday that when I bend forwards I get an instant headache. As soon as I straighten up it goes again.
Any ideas?
Should I be worried?

It's quite hard to avoid bending forwards- especially when doing bath with toddler ds.

I dot remember this from first time round

It's probably your sinuses. They're potentially blocked. This is v common in pregnancy and the main symptom is pain when leaning forwards around your forehead.

Steam helps.

I've been bunged up for weeks but can breathe through nose during day. It's only really been bad at night. But the headaches are during the day when I'm active.

Is steam the only thing?
I miss medicine! :(

yeah sounds like sinuses to me aswell, its one of the tests the doctors get you to do when you complain of headaches, is to lean forward.

Olbas oil/Vicks.

Not much else you can do. I've just had horrid sinusitis. Breathing has been fine (my airways weren't blocked). My sinuses throbbed if I leaned forwards.

Sounds like your sinuses. Do you get like a popping sensation around your eyes? Feelings of pressure? Bunged up?

If it's an infection, I was given antibiotics to treat. Now I just get sinus headaches, days where all the symptoms come back, but then go away again a day or so later. I use paracetamol as a painkiller.

I had this for a couple of months earlier in my pregnancy but it has (touch a lot of wood) gone now. I didn't know sinus problems were common in pregnancy - someone suggested to me it was pregnancy migraine, but it was not genuine migraine as I could still function, didn't need to lie in a dark room, but it was nasty.

You can take paracetamol sparingly when it is really bad, as well as the other good advice about steam (which is hard to use while looking after another child or two in the daytime) and vapour rub.

Hope the headaches stop soon for you!

If it is infected (mine was, luminous yellow discharge gave it away), you can have antibiotics.

Paracetamol is fine in normal doses.

Hmmm
It does feel like my head might pop when I lean forwards.

Olbas oil/ vicks makes me feel icky so that's no good
Steaming head is impossible for 90% of day due to toddler chasing or work.
Paracetamol I can do.

Pregnancy makes you feel great in oh so many ways! :)

TMI - my bogeys are not yellow- clear for the most part.
