Hello :)

I'm not sure if anyone can offer any advice but I am so tired of feeling so so poorly.

I am 6+5 and am constantly being sick. Everything smells bad. I can't keep any fluid down. My mouth is constantly dry and my lips are beginning to crack. I'm exhausted, I guess from not drinking much. I feel faint and dizzy all the time, don't dare go out on my own with my DD as I nearly passed out the other day.

Every day is a struggle to function with a nearly three year old. I just feel like crying because I feel and am sick so much.

Is it normal to feel this ill? Or am I a moaning cow who needs to get a grip?! Grin

I've tried nibbling dry biscuits, hot drinks, cold drinks but everything makes me so ill.

Hi sorry haven't been back all day. Got on well at GP. Have cyclezine one 3x a day for ten days and if they agree with me I can call her in a week to get another prescription over the phone. They worked really well and the first tablet worked after about an hour and I have had an apple, ice poles, water and a whole pack of tuc cheese biscuits! Thanks you all for your advice you have changed everything :) :)

It is a huge relief, I never knew I could start to fell better so soon. The GP worried me a little saying that she was unsure if the Cyclizine was safe during pregnancy as it is hard to collect that type of data but a quick google and knowing lots of ladies here are on it I accepted them.

Have been getting alot of stomach cramps since yesterday though. Not sure if that is a side effect. They are really high up, kind of like hunger pains so not concerned about the baby any more than usual.

I was still sick this morning as I had to go in the bathroom for a wee before I took my pill. Do you take your first one of the day while you're still in bed so you avoid the first puke of the day?

Glad you are having a good day :) And I have always been interested in acupuncture.

Glad the tablets are working. :)

i take mine at 7am, 3pm and 11pm

i then lie still for an hour, and do my best not to be sick!

apparently (according to my GP) i need to not vomit for an hour for the medication to do its stuff, and if im sick after that hour it will still have worked

most of the time i manage to not vomit back, but if im in the middle of a major vomitting block, when i cant keep down anything then i vomit the tablet too.

have been told unless i vomit it back immediatly and see the whole entire tablet i mustnt take any more and must not overdose baby!

Hello

Just wanted to update. I was rushed to hospital on Thursday in ambulance after excruciating cramps in my abdomen, sides and back. The paramedic found ketones and billirubin in my urine so I was admitted. The suspected an ectopic due to the pain and I was put on a drip, cyclizine injections (ouch) and had to wait for a scan slot to become available. I was scanned Friday morning and baby is in the right place, measuring 7+3 and with heartbeat. So they couldn't find a cause for the pain so I was discharged yesterday evening. I have had no pain since but they didn't investigate the billirubin. There was no sign of infection. So I am home and feeling drained. No appetite and no energy. Really worried that the cyclizine is harming the baby but daren't stop it as the effects of my dehydration will be worse.
