Hey

I'm 22 weeks due 17.06.2011. Friday night started to experience BH for about a hour. Is this normal? Anyone else experiencing this? Confused

Hi im 24weeks and getting them now as i type. Third DC so its normal so they say but can be uncumfy sometimes. The midwives tend to say as long as there is no pain with them then no need to worry.

Is this your first? I had quite bad ones that lasted about a hr and half and had to kinda walk off but they stopped. Have you had any since?

I'm also due June and I have started getting them too. Get them checked out but I bet it's normal. Mine are horrible, very unpleasant but not painful as such.

No this is my second not had the best of pregnancies. Hardly put any weight on and lost a stone!
Does anyone else think they are constantly calling the docs/midwife over the smallest things? I feel bad!
As its getting closer now i am getting more and more nervous as i cant really remember how the labour was with the first plus the complications with this one...
Is anyone feeling the baby move lot around this time?

Well I'm on me third and worry about 10times more then with my first. My midwife said you feel everything more the more kids you have, more pains, kicks an jus general uncumfy because your body is already stretched out from last baby.
Try not to worry about labour anno its easier said then done but no point stressing yourself out for next 18weeks about something you can't control.
Xx

Mine started at about 14-16 weeks this time, 8th pg, 4th baby.

They are incredibly strong this time (28 wks now) and some are so painful they take my breath away but they do settle down. If yours stopped after an hour it may just be your body practising and getting those muscles ready for labour later on!

Drink plenty as dehydration can trigger stronger BHs and try to move about if you're sitting or sit if your moving...they should settle.

If you are at all worried a quick call to the number (normally) on your maternity notes should put your mind at rest.

Hope alls ok! Smile

Thanks for your comments i'm still getting the odd one now and then more in the evening. Feels like i've got so much pressure going into my bum!
I think if they carry on later in the week i will give the centre a call.
My baby is more active at night time when daddy comes home from work so i'm guessing she will make her first apperance at night hence why i'm getting these pains in the night too.

I still feel like i've got ages left to go, but everyone keeps telling me it will go quick.....
