Twin buggys for those who use Buses

Hi everyone

was just wondering if anyone has experience using a twin buggy/tandem on public transport

I have 2 year old DS and another baby due end of June and have the chance of a Phil and Teds double - wondered if anyone has used these on buses and how they feel to use for two kids ??

I have never used a phil and teds on buses but I think in terms of if you have to use a double on the bus they are the best of a bad bunch!

I live in london so am on and off buses and tended to use a sling and a single when they were young by which time they would get on and off buses with help without a buggy.

I have never used a double a buggy for this reason but if I did would probbably buy a phil and teds for walking trips and use a single and sling for public transport where possible.my kids were 2.3 and 2.9 months when there siblings were born

A friend uses her Phil. And Teds with two kids in it on the bus all the time. No problems whatsoever.
Infact I am having it off her when this one comes along in the summer.
