Did your c-section scar hurt during your next pregnancy...? I ask because mine does and wondered if this was in anyway normal...?!

Had DS2 by c-section 3years ago (he was breech) and am currently only 8 weeks pg but this last week one end of my scar (where I had a stubborn stitch that would not dissolve) is tingly/sore.

Familiar to anyone else?! MPD

Yes I've had this. Am 22 weeks pg with DC2 after previous EMCS and my scar has been sore off and on. I think it's just been all the stretching going on as it does come and go and is never acute, but if you're worried then maybe mention it to your MW for some reassurance. :)

Mine got a bit sore around that sort of time but it passed. Although to be fair, I did have the incision re-opened at 13 weeks for surgery and "cleaned up" so maybe that's why mine doesn't hurt any more! Now 27 weeks and it's not been a problem for a long, long time (well, since it healed from the latest surgery)

Sorry, should add that it was only the external incision that was re-opened, not the one in the uterus! It was the external incision that was sore.
