Swine flu Jab still applicable?

Hello,

I'm not sure if i have missed something and this is silly question but here goes..
Am 15+2 atm, Went to Gp to enquire about having the flu jab and i was told there arent any left and that "it's a bit late in the day for flu jabs".

Is anyone else still having one? Should i be persueing this or am i worrying for nothing?

I wouldnt mind paying for one if it came to it!

Many thanks for any help! x

I didn't want one.

Have a search on the internet for current flu cases and figures - I was assume it will be reducing from now on as weather improves etc. So less and less need.

I was invited to my GP surgery at the beginning of last week for a flu jab and they're having a flu jab clinic on Saturday so I don't think it's too late.

Maybe ask your midwife about it or see the practice nurse rather than the GP? I've found that sometimes they're more accommodating than the doctors!

This thread has prompted me to update the "swine flu, numbers declining" thread. The number of cases as been below the baseline level for two weeks now.

Ahhh thank you, i think i will sort one out for myself then as i work with the public coughing and germing all over me ;) better safe than sorry, it would be just my luck to come down with something.
