Anyone had Glucose test positive dip stick?

I have had a positive dip stick test today ++ glucose im 32 weeks pregnant. I was wondering if anyone else has had this? I have the glucose test tommorrow. GTT. I was wondering if anyone had the dip stick done after they had breakfast? Im wondering if this effected the result? Or if anyone has had the same thing happen to them?

I got asked to return to hospital where I got monitored and blood tested before a glucose drink and after, it was fine!
(the fact I was addicted to Weetos and drank hot chocolate all day had something to do with it I feel)

Im supprised how quick the sugar gets into your system! I had coco pops this morning about 1 1/2hrs before I went. The other times I have gone I have been due to have some food or had some ages ago! It was a bit of a shock this morning. Glad this has happened to you too! Well not in a horrible sense! You know what I mean! Its just interesting to hear. And hot choc and weetos sounds nice hmmmm

Gawd, Weetos and hot chocolate was magical!!!!!!

It doesn't sound like this is the problem but a friend was taking splenda and it turned her sample positive although she didn't have GD.
