Anyone had clots during/after pregnancy?

I had my daughter in 2009 and developed a DVT about 2-3 months after. I have just found out I am pregnant again but worried about clotting again. Has anyone been here?

I'm not sure if you've had a previous confirmed DVT you should be on a preventative dose of clexane during pregnancy?

I had bi lateral pulmonary emboli in a previous pregnancy and also have a blood disorder and am on clexane daily.

Think you need a referral to a haematologist asap. Was on heparin-type drugs with ds2 and dd from moment knew was pg with dosage doubling at 20 weeks. Would also recommend you get some supportive tights. Am surprised this wasn't all discussed with you when you had the DVT.

Thanks both. Yes, the DVT was confirmed midori. I have been having tests for APS/LA since my DVT (1st positive,2nd borderline,3rd negative) but funnily enough my test result (for lupus anticoag) came back negative when I went to see my haemo yesterday (didnt know I was pregnant then!) so she has kind of discharged me. I am also moving next week so will need to sign up with new Dr ect. Haemo did mention that I might have to have heparin after the pregnancy if I got pregnant but didn't say if I needed it while I was pregnant.
