Lump on my cervix

I'm 13 weeks and since being pg haven't really checked my cervix much because, well, what's the point. When ttc I was checking regularly so got v used to what it felt like.

Thing is, a couple of weeks ago, can't remember when,I felt a lump on my cervix like the size of a small pea. It's hard and doesn't hurt. Checked again today in the bath and it is definitely there.

Anyone else had this and what shall I do?

Probably a nabothian cyst (pregnant women are more prone, apparently, because of the increased mucus)... but, y'know, I'm not a fanjo doctor, nor am I having a look at your cervix! Grin

I presume you're up to date with your smears? Either way, I can only recommend you see your gp (might want to make a double appointment as if you were having a smear because no doubt they'll want to take a quick look/swab).

I'd agree with Manda on this one. Do get it checked though, just in case it is anything else

Women get spots on their cervix just like they do on their faces at the time of the month! Your hormones cause them! I've had one now for about a year and I'm on my third pregnancy. Got no bigger, doesn't hurt, just keep your eye on it to make sure it gets no bigger then just mention it to your midwife next time you see. If it was anything dangerous their are a lot of side effects that come with it! Bleeding, smelly mucus, funny colour mucus etc! I really wouldn't worry yourself over it x x x x
