Hiya, as thread suggests really, have been ill for a fortnight now with a virus (if hadnt had flu jab I would have seriously suspected it). Turned into a chest infection, then a sinus infection that was soooo painful I could hardly move, finally on antib's and feeling bit more human today. Havent felt so below par in years, am 36 wks with DC2 and really want to try and get back to full fitness before having to endure labour....I know its really common, low immunity being pg, hard with a rampaging toddler yadda yadda but has anypone tried anything (supplements, miracle smoothies...ANYTHING) safe in late pg to pull myself back up to full fighting fitness???? thanks muchly

Hi, can totally empathise with this...can recommend these and a good multi-vitamin:

The above are safe in the last trimester, they're honestly amazing, I know a little pricey but so worth it.

Good luck x

Nettle tea or soup! It is an instant immune system booster as it's full of vitamins and chlorophyll. Shitaki mushroom also are very good for the immune system. You are better to try and do it naturally than multiple vit's as your body then depends on them, and you get to have fun with new flavours and cooking! Passes the time while the anxious wait to give birth Smile
