Baby's head sticking out

Hello,

I'm pretty sure this is normal, but just wanted to reassure my husband.

The baby's head has been sticking out of my belly since yesterday (the bugger's still in a breech position). While it is pretty freaky, I also find it quite endearing.

This is the one thing I'm not panicking about, as I assume it's fairly normal. But then my husband kept asking if it was OK. Baby is still wriggling about.

So, can anyone just confirm that this is quite normal.

Thanks, and sorry for asking a bit of a (potentially) stupid question.

I would be freaked out! I am sure it is normal though. My OH is far better at all the freaky things of pregnancy than me, thats not right, is it?

Sorry I can't advise but I'm sure it's fine - I am just relieved as the title gives the alarming image of you sitting at home with the baby crowning, wondering if you should phone the hospital!

My dd was breech, and her head used to stick out too. Very weird, I can clearly remember the sensation.

She is 3yo now, and her head is beautiful.

Good point JeelyPiece, should have added 'of stomach' to that Wink!

Thanks Pinkjenny, good to know that someone else has had the experience too.

It's really weird, very visible when I lie down.
