Is there anything u can do for these? I have what feels like a trapped nerve on my lower left hand side of my back, butt and leg! Have politely asked baby if he/she is responsible and whther would like to move...no progress with that yet....any thing else I can do???

I have a desk job and sitting is ok but as soon as I get up I feel an uncomfortable twitch.

I could have written your post. 32 weeks and in agony with sciatica. I've found very gently moving my hips while sat on a swiss ball helps and squatting rather than bending down if I need to reach near the floor for something.

I wish I had a better answer but hopefully someone will come along who can advise both of us. It helps me to know I'm not alond with this, anyway.

According to my pregnancy yoga DVD the pigeon pose is good for sciatica. I just googled and there are some videos on youtube showing you how to do it. It certainly feels like it's stretching everything out!

I am only 17 weeks 4 days, is there no hope for me? Ha ha....

I imagine we will be told it's one of those things and grin and beat it....story of my pregnancy so far!

Is this what sciatica is? I must google it....

I had this with DC1 but more to end of pregnancy and now again with DC3. I'm 24weeks and its awful. If anyone finds anything that works then please share. All the doctors said last time was to take pain killers but praying someone knows a miracle cure.

Ladies I feel your pain! 20wks + 6 and walking like a wierdo Shock

I have no answers yet.. In fact I'm quite worried how the hell I will carry on walking at this rate! I've suffered before with this type of pain in my lower back and have been perscribed dixoflex - not sure we can take them now but I'll be asking at my next appointment.
