Sounds like braxton hicks. When I was pg my belly would go hard and I would get some aches and pains but nothing serious. presumably the baby is moving as it would usually and everything? It's probably absolutely nothing to worry about.

If you are at all concerned though go to the doctors.

Hi, Ive had this for a few weeks now im am 32 weeks, sometimes it is like really bad period pain and sometimes like a dull ache. The midwife said it may be a urinary infection so she tested for that but all was fine so she said it is likely to be the baby banging his head on my pelvis. She said that when the head engages it is asuch a tight and akward fit and the baby has to get it just right to fit in and so they spend a good long time trying to get in there but end up just bouncing round and causing you discomfort!
Like I said ive been getting it for a while but not been causing any problems.
Hoep that helps :)
