I was due yesterday too, due to my rather mature age of 40 the hospital don't want me to go over by too much, so already had a couple of sweeps, with no success..Sad..but due to go in tomorrow for induction!!
My CM thought this was perhaps unneccessary,as had a fit( not that fit,..lots of sofa lounging and doughnut eating!!) & healthy pregnancy. I have to say though I'm at a point were I just want to get on with it!!

Have you tried all the usual "getting things started" old wifes methods? I've just been for a long walk but still no sign labour. Not found one to work for me but you could be luckier.( My first DD was 17 days od by the way!!!)

My baby was due yesterday too. Like you, I have been told endlessly that my baby will be early, but here I am, still tired and huge. I even went to the midwife last week who said that all the signs suggested I should have had the baby already, and she didn't understand why it hadn't happened. Thanks, so helpful!

I have tried just about everything going - I have eaten as much pineapple and curry as I can manage without making myself sick, I have been for a walk twice every day for the last month (taking DD1 to school and deliberately leaving the car at home!) and have had sex as often as my low energy levels would allow.

I must say that aside from all of the aches and pains of this time in pregnancy, the worst thing still has to be my DH telling me each day that I must not be fed up enough with being pregnant, as if I was, I would have had the baby by now! As if I have a choice!

Don't worry ladies, we haven't got long now. Even another few days is not the end of the world, and most hospitals will not let babies go more than two weeks overdue. Then we get a beautiful bundle of joy for all our pains!
