I have a consultant appointment tomorrow morning following a growth scan at 34 weeks where the baby was quite big - 6lbs9.
He is going to do another scan but as I have read that induction on the grounds that the baby is big is no longer offered I am wondering why he wants to see me?
I also have mild pregnancy induced high blood pressure but this has only arrisen since I last saw him so this wouldn't have made him ask to see me again.

Would big baby + high bp indicate induction does anyone know?

I don't have a problem with induction as such as was induced last time at 42 weeks and was not too bad. Put it this way - I would prefer to be induced than sit on the ward waiting...
