Im 41 weeks pregnant today and I just feel like crying.
Every night I have the most painful braxton hicks which last for three hours. I dread eating because I know its going to set the baby off which creates the hicks. On a scale of 1 - 10 of pain. 10 being the worst they are about a 7 and constant. Every few seconds.
I have my membrane sweep tomorrow but today I just feel like crying so badly. Im trying to hold back because I dont want to stop labour coming on... should I just have a cry and let it out or suck it up and stop feeling sorry for myself?

(((hug))) Roxy

Please dont hold it back...let it all out and bawl as hard as you possibly can. You will feel a lot better letting all that pent up emotion out!!

Having gone to 42 weeks and 41 weeks respectively with DDs 1& 2 I feel your pain. Just remember this...you are not going to go for much longer!!!!

This time next week you will have your baby!!

So why not start something, i.e, a new book / writing a list of letters you've been meaning to do / sort your wardrobes...or something that would be equally as annoying to stop halfway through. Because you just KNOW that the little one will make an appearance as soon as you get into it!

Sorry if this doesnt help much, i know its easy to be optimistic from the outside, but I and lots of us on here will have inside knowledge of the frustration and exhaustion you're feeling. so if nothing else you can rant it all out. Chin up hun. X

Failing that, give your midwife a menacing look tomorrow, unleash all the pregnancy neurosis you can muster...and then BEG to be induced NOW!! Grin x

I'd say GOOD LUCK AND LET IT ALL OUT - you're nearly there now so be positive. I'm 23 weeks and just want it over and done with!
best of luck. x
