I'm 11+2 and for the last few days I've been conscious of mild cramping and an uncomfortable ache in my lower back.
It's not constant, mainly when I'm laying down and the odd ping when I'm at work.

This is my 7th pregnancy and this is the furthest I've ever got, so far I've had 3 scans. (all good)
I'm not spotting but I tend to retain anyway.

I'm hoping for a slap reassurance and to be told I'm being nurotic and it's all normal, they are not bad , just every little pinch and twinge feels 100000 times worse at the moment.

Thanks in advance. Weak Smile

Congratulations.

It's quite common to feel stretchy and crampy as you approach 12 weeks. Your uterus has gone from the size of a tangerine to the size of a grapefruit. It is now peeking over the top of your symphysis and fills the pelvic cavity. So it's beginning to exert pressure everywhere. Your body is working VERY hard and the stretching feelings are normal. You'll also be producing hormones that relax your pelvis and make you feel a bit more loose and achy than you did before.

I know why you're worried. Sounds like you've fought a long hard road to get here but there's nothing to worry about from what you've said.

pretty I fully understand why it must feel scary, but wanted to let you know that I had cramps, backache and stretchy feelings at this stage of pg too. Please call your MW for further reassurance though and hassle them for your next scan Smile

i had mild period like pains in the 1st trimester. my consultant said these are totally normal - just means your uterus is stretching in preparation for fetal growth. hope it all goes well for you. x

Thank you all for the reassuring replies.
I've got my Booking in App tomorrow so I'm yet to be given a MW, the poor woman. Grin
Can you really just ring them?
Within reasonable hours of course. Hmm

I'm on steroids for high NK cells and they seem to be doing their job so far.
I have started to reduce the dose and along with sad news on another thread it's sent me into a tizz.
I'm going to ask for a scan tomorrow whilst I'm there.

My MW wasn't at all concerned when I told her about my cramps, etc and I was around 10 weeks

I'd call the MW anyway even if not booked in yet, or the EPAU. Mine have put up with lots of calls from me Blush they kinda expect it I think. Ditto with the scan, nothing to lose by asking! Hope it goes ok

I know what you mean about sad news, I'm too sensitive ATM hearing one bit of bad news spirals me

hope these work!
