Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hi, I read somewhere that the Omega3 should also be specially made for pregnancy. It has something to do with the quantity of Vit A in the tablets sourced from fish that is harmful to the baby.

Omega 3 is most important in the third trimester. Do check with your midwife whether the Tesco Omega 3 tablets are safe to use now.

Here is what I did. I shelved the Omega 3 tablets I had before pregnancy and bought pregnacare plus (which has one multivit and one omega 3 tablet) for my third trimester which started a couple of weeks ago.

Hope this helps.
Enjoy your pregnancy :)

I'm also taking Omega 3 but only the ones especially formulated for pregnancy. When it comes to medications etc I think it's worth being cautious...

Hi there, I have been recommended Udo's Choice ultimate oil blend omega 3 6 & 9. Before that I took the pregnacare ones that come with the multivitamin. Omega is especially important in 3rd trimester to help with brain growth and development. I also read that it can help to ensure that you don't go over your due date.

I am taking Sanatagen Omega 3&6 which is specially formulated for pregnancy as well as Sanatagen multi vitamin for pregnancy, I am 7 weeks at the moment. I took omega 3&6 throughout my previous 2 pregnancy too. My first DD was born on her due date (very rare) and my 2nd DD was born 3 days early, so may be some truth in the not going over you due date theory!
