Hi everyone,
I'm new to this and I guess looking for reassurance. I'm 8 weeks tomorrow and have yet to have any real symptoms apart from tiredness, we found out at 5 weeks and the wait to the 12 week scan is driving me mad - I keep having to stop myself taking another test just to make sure I am still preggers ha ha.

Anyone else in the same boat?

Sort of. Apart from the fact my boobs are now vast (to DS's fascination), I'm the same. The tiredness wasn't even too bad until this weekend, when it hit with a vengeance.

I was the same last time. Anytime I stood still or sat down, I was in danger of falling asleep but had no other symptoms for weeks and weeks. Be glad-most of the symptoms are no fun at all!

I'm 7.5 weeks, also my first, and don't feel very pregnant.

I have some v mild symptoms with faint nausea, tiredness and tender boobs, but nothing that obvious. If I didn't know I was pregnant, they could almost go unnoticed.

If it wasn't for the fact that I've had an early scan this morning, I think I would be unsure too!

At this stage for me, it still doesn't feel very real. I think that once I tell people, it'll then become more real!

I have the tiredness but that's it, some days I feel really bloated too - almost like i've already got a little pregnancy bump but I know it's too early for me to be showing yet

Thanks for the replys :0)

Yep I'm 12 weeks with DC2 and I don't feel pregnant. Haven't put on any weight, had put on a couple of pounds with DC1 at this point. You say you are tired, well there you go!! You do have a symptom!

Try not worry, it sounds like you are fortunate not to get any morning sickness. Your scan will come round quick and then you can relax. Try not to worry.

Thanks CJ2010, just looking forward to that first scan :)

Meee! im 5wks tomorrow and dont feel pregnant at all :( got period-like pains too so it just feels like im going to come on. ive only told my 2 best friends, dp's brother and my sister, am telling my mum soon (but not sure when!) i feel weird telling people cos i want to know a baby is definately there before i do. even tho 2 tests went positive in a blink of an eye! :) my tummy also feels like ive done 1000 sit-ups, does anyone elses?

confuddledDOTcom · 07/02/2011 15:31

I'm 18 weeks and this is my 5th pregnancy. I've never really had pregnancy symptoms, just relax and enjoy your pregnancy.

Also, I wouldn't worry about hiding pregnancy from anyone you would want to support you if the worst happens. It's easier to tell people it's happened than have to tell them you was or have to hide it from everyone.

CrazyAlien06 · 07/02/2011 17:12

hey, ive only had tender boobs and tiredness, its proving quite difficult to keep my eyes open when trying to teach kids especially when no one at work knows yet, can't wait until had the scan and fingers crossed everything is ok so that I can tell work and then maybe get some sympathy lol or at least Ill have an excuse for all the yawning in my meetings haha

theSnellings · 07/02/2011 17:30

so pleased there are others that feel the same!
no1childminder, I had the period like pains - thought I was going to get my period, and the sit-up feeling at 5 weeks too, thats gone now although I occasionally get a dull ache that last just a few minutes

Thanks for the reply confuddledDotcom, really good advice :)

Hi guys, i felt like you guys at 8, 12 and 18 weeks....i'm now coming up 29 weeks, and i can only put socks on my right foot (don't understand why i can't put on my left), my back hurts, i have to to have a shove out the bed when i need to get up to go for a pee for the 3rd time during the night, i can't see to shave (down there!) ive got indegestion, and im kicked from dawn to dusk.

what im saying is ENJOY this period, knowing you are pregnant but not having the crap feelings.

Don't get me wrong, i am loving being pregnant but would just like one day off to get a full nights sleep, eat without the pain and not have the back ache.

It won't be long before you FEEL pregnant, and then you'll feel the same as me.

roll on the 2nd may! (my EDD)
