I am so very fed up this pregnancy and rather than make everyone on the ante-natal threads miserable too I thought I would keep my whining to one thread, so here we go:

I have SPD and severe back pain
I have another nasty stomach bug, the 4th one this pregnancy
My ribs are sore
I have terrible indigestion/ heartburn
I've just pulled a muscle in my stomach
I can't sleep for more than an hour at a time
My arse and thighs look like jelly
I am terrified of having a prem baby (DD was prem)
I am terrified of childbirth
I am working full time and have a toddler (though off sick today and toddler is with MIL)

Anyone else want to get things of their (massive and sore) chest??? Grin

I'm 13 weeks and have already had swine flu and a stomach bug - never get ill usually and never have time off work, but between those and my antenatal appointments I'm worried people will start seeing me as a part-timer!

Are you me??

I have SPD and severe back pain - Check
I have another nasty stomach bug, the 4th one this pregnancy - Not stomach bug, but a cold
My ribs are sore - Check
I have terrible indigestion/ heartburn - Check
I've just pulled a muscle in my stomach - Do I have muscles in my stomach??? Confused
I can't sleep for more than an hour at a time - Yep, this too
My arse and thighs look like jelly - Check, although they weren't that un-jelly like pre-pregnancy
I am terrified of having a prem baby (DD was prem)- This is DS1 for me, but a few of my friends recently have had prem babies. I am further along now than my friend was with both her DDs
I am terrified of childbirth - add breastfeeding, looking after a newborn life, what I'm going to do when Dh goes back to work
I am working full time and have a toddler (though off sick today and toddler is with MIL) - I am still working, but have been signed off sick by GP after falling apart in his surgery last week. Offical reason is SPD, but I'm just a jelly mess bag of nerves.

I am also throughly sick of people telling me how lucky I am to be pregnant, I know this, I can't wait to be a mum but I am not enjoying pregnancy. And the
"oh I didn;t have that when i was pregnant" comments are not required. I feel like getting a t-shirt made up saying "only speak if you have something helpful to say".

I know everyone close to me is sick of my moaning, I just wonder how much more verbal moaning I'd do if I didn't have Mumsnet!

Thanks for your time!!

Coastgirl I feel like a part timer too. Had about 8 days off now but on 3 separate occasions. I hate calling my boss to tell her I won't be in work, again. Swine flu is very nasty though, you had every right to be off work!!

Lis I'm sure everyone is sick of me moaning too. When people ask me how I'm feeling I just want to shout 'SHITE!!' and walk off. Tried to start the day being positive today, but pulling a muscle and spending an hour on the loo was the final straw Angry

I am so with you on this.

I love that I am pregnant but I really don't like being pregnant.

I am 31 weeks and 2 days (I'm almost counting the hours but I don't want to sound too desperate).
I spent the first four months throwing up. Followed by a sickness bug, a cold, another sickness bug and a cold.
I have SPD. I have thankfully been signed off for 2 months but I'm now on crutches when I leave the house :(
I have horrible heartburn.
I now have a return of nausea.
And finally baby has decided that his/her favourite game is to poke me in the kidney and give me horrible pain.

Ahhhh that feels so much better. I never feel I can just rant to anyone because they just tell me it will be worth it. I KNOW IT WILL BE WORTH IT but it doesn't make me feel better NOW!!!

Thanks for the ranting space :0

oooh and the old ladies at work who ask "how long to go now?" me last week btw "11 weeks" them "really, are you sure? you look much bigger than that" Hmm

I just smile, when really I want to scream "Who made you an expert in pregnancy and foetal growth???!" followed by a 2 fingered salute (I forgot to mention the rage I have earlier)

And the fact I can no longer bend to reach my socks/shoes so hubby has to do it. I am only 30+3. I know I am on the erm...larger side but I could still touch my toes before pregnancy lol.
Its even getting harder now when I go to the loo to reach anything let alone the stupid bottle they give you to fill lol.
The aggrevated breathlessness. I am on beta blockers, so I get it anyway, but now I can't multitask....ie walk and breathe. Even a slight incline makes me want to lie down...or fall down, whichever is quicker.
I can cope with the acid, thanks to peptac and the sleeplessness. But the constant when I am trying to keep my (swollen) feet up and baby thinks, ha! Mum has been still for 5 minutes, toilet time, does irritate me somewhat. Especially when you have only just been minutes before ARRRGGGHHH.

Yes its worth it, or we wouldn't do it, but even so lol.

Oh and with you on the rage issue, everything/one annoys me atm. Hence the reason I am glad I do all my grocery shopping online otherwise there would be a few less pensioners standing in the way weg

If my work saw me as a part timer it would be great but i havent done a full day since before Xmas due to cold, tooth infection and hypermesis. I feel so rough I don't even care I am not there, my poor assistant is now having to be acting office manager and putting up with all end of year stuff.

I am fed up not being able to go out, throwing up on myself, back aching, head aching, hormones crazy, my super sense of smell, the fact I seem to be 100 degrees all the time and despite being mega horny I cant do it as I get to hot and barf on other half (not as attractive as it sounds). the highlight of my week is going to the dr and then to the chemist (for prescription), Greggs and New Look (dresses £13? yes please!)

I am only 13 weeks too! I am sure I didnt sign up for all of this
