Anyone else?

I'm 25+4 today and my back is killing me! If I walk around for anymore than 20 minutes or so I am in agony. Had sciatica early on in this pregnancy but this feels different. It's in the middle left side of my lower back and if I take too big a step when walking it all clicks too. Really painfull and driving me mad. Although it has had a silver lining as DP did the ironing tonight instead of me!! :)

Anyone else experiencing anything similar?

Yes I have the same thing at 26+5. Mine gets worse everytime I'm sick (9 times on Sunday!) I have been given a physio appointment this week so will see what they say but as I work in a nursery with children I havnt been working as it is agony! My gp just says to take paracetamol, if I was working I would but since I'm at home I just deal with it. When it gets really bad I go swimming to take the pressure off a bit and to keep it moving as walking is just too painful!

I would see your gp see what they say, they may refer you!

Hiya, i feel your pain! not sure if it is the same thing but just came on here to post about the same subject! I am only 20+2 but for the last few days the back ache has been getting worse with intermittent sharp pains even when resting. it's not quite in my lower back either, not near my hips which is where i would expect it to be.
Moving in bed is painful in bed etc and am not sure what to do with myself.

I do have a chiro appointment tonight for my frozen shoulder(!) so will ask him but he has said to me already that rather than just put a hot water bottle or something on it, try and ice it first for 5 to 10 mins and then apply heat and that should be more effective. Not sure if this will help you but may be worth giving it a go.

I agree with Rosduk, def worth talking to your GP about too.

Hope you both feel better soon xx
