I have noticed since i got pg my dreams have got more weird and unusual. The other night i dreamt that my baby poked its head out of my stomach and wiggled it about before going into my stomach again. Any body else have any weird dreams to share Smile

I dreamt that my baby burst out of my belly instead of the normal route a while ago and that i have to go into the hospital to sew the belly back up.

A couple of nights ago, I dreamt that the baby was so active he was already walking as soon as he's born despite that he can't yet support his head... so he was walking about with a wobbly head.

Pinetree that must of been scary ha ha. All my dreams this last few months are pregnancy related, maybe cause thats all i am thinking about at the min.

After taking nearly 12 months to conceive once I fell pregnant all my dreams were nightmare based with many about me losing the baby in some horrible way :(:(

They are getting a lot better now and slightly more bizarre like Cece & Pinetree's

Yes some dreams are scary Ems82 and they keep playing on my mind all day, but then i realise it was just a bad dream and nothing bad will come of them

On saturday my dream was about giant dancing crisps singing and dancing telling me to eat them!

Trinaluce · 17/02/2011 09:37

I think I've been having the same sort of dreams as girliefriend Grin

I wouldn't mind but I wake up feeling so -ahem- GOOOOOOOOOD that I actually wonder what DH has been doing to me in the night Shock

I've had weird ones too - a recurring one where I have my baby, but it can talk to me -and tells me how to change its diaper, feed it etc. Very freaky as is a tiny little baby that talks like an adult!

I like the sound of the dancing crisp dream -the best one I had was where I was eating a giant ice cream sundae with all my favourite toppings and it literally went on forever!

Oh yes.... and I'm only 5 weeks gone.

Normally I can't remember a thing about dreams, but so far I've had some really wild sex (only in the dream, sadly :o ), sat and watched Jeremy Clarkson hold forth on something (WTF?!) and looked around a 1920's bathroom in a rundown Kentucky mansion. None actually involved babies though (yet...). And none were scarey, just very, very strange

cece123 I have had a similar dream twice now. The first time it was after hubby ad I had watch all 4 Alien movies over the course of a couple weeks...baby tried to poke through my chest and I had to shove him back in saying "no, no you're not ready yet" (wasn't scary though surprisingly). The second time was unprovoked, baby poked his arm out of my tummy, complete with a bue sleeve of whatever he was wearing and again I had to shove hime back in saying "no, no you're not ready yet"!

I've had all sorts of weird dreams about expressing milk, the newborn at 1 day old being able to talk to me, full conversations.

My hubby's had loads of weird dreams as well. It's only normal.

I have had sooo many weird dreams and they are so vivid! Is it the hormones?

knittymum · 21/02/2011 19:45

Last night I dreamed I had the baby but I had NOTHING ready for it. So I packed it in the babysling I had for my other 2 DCs, WALKED a mile to Sainsburys (this was just a couple of hours after delivery) and bought a load of stuff, then calmly walked home again. When I got home, I remembered that I didn't have a car seat for the baby, or a pushchair, so I went straight back out again, hopped on a bus to mothercare and bought a travel system and loaded the tray underneath up with all sorts of other paraphernalia! Then I rushed home, put the baby in the car seat and drove to my mother-in-law's house because I remembered I'd been invited to tea!

I'll be 5 weeks tomorrow, so I'm thinking that I've got some interesting dreams coming up in the coming months!!

girliefriend · 25/02/2011 22:16

Hey weird Knittymum I also had that dream!! In my dream all I had was a towel to wrap the baby in and all the other new mums (I was on a hospital ward) kept tutting at me for being so useless!!!

Nettlerash · 26/02/2011 10:26

I am 6 weeks with my second and having the weirdest dreams. I seem to remember it happening last time too. x

Dipper105 · 26/02/2011 10:28

I was being chased by a large fruit salad and black jack sweet the other night! Xx

Nettlerash · 26/02/2011 19:40

LOL @ dipper that is weird!
