I am 7-8 weeks pregnant and I am utterly, utterly shattered. When will I feel better?

Will it be tomorrow?! [Clutching at straws emotion]

Probably not....... But you might feel better than today??

That's probably all you can hope for at the moment, sucks doesn't it!

It really, really does. I feel so fed-up because I haven't had the energy to do anything today and I am working tomorrow so the weekend is over. Sad

And it doesn't even matter how much you sleep cause you just feel like you will never get enough sleep!

Ohhh it's horrid....asleep on the sofa at 8pm and general feeling like poo. It won't last forever, one day you'll be whoooohooo back on form and running around doing loads.

Sounds dim but do try and eat well, it really does help (IMO)

I started to feel 'normal' at about 11 weeks, just in time for the scan!

I am trying to eat well Highland and you are right, it definitely helps but it is hard when the thought of cooking/shopping is too much. We have had a least one takeaway every week for the past few weeks. I wish you could get homemade, nutritious meals delivered!

And yes, Niamh, I could sleep for a week and still feel tired!

It has started to worry me a bit because the thought of feeling this tired when the baby arrives and still having to entertain my 2 year old DD is filling me with horror!

I have two DD's, 4.5 and 1.5 so I'm also worried about dealing with a newborn and a young toddler but I remember when my last was born and I had so much more energy than when I was pregnant, I couldn't believe how well I felt, despite having a cs, so there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Thanks Niamh. I remember sleeping a lot with DD when she was a newborn, it was lovely! I won't get that chance this time around. When are you due?
