I never had it with either pregnancy, apart from occasional light nausea when I got too hungry. Consider yourself lucky!!!

ElsieR · 05/02/2011 17:14

Never experienced morning sickness either.
The only time I felt sick is when one of my colleague told me it (my lac of morning sickness) was probably a sign I'd miscarry.... Silly insensitive arse... Sadly I was so gobsmacked by her comment, I was not quick enough to tell her to go and fuck herself. So beware of people coming up with crap like that, it's not normal or abnormal, we all have different experiences with pregnancy.

you might be lucky and get away with none some people do. Personally I'm fine until about week 7-8 and then it starts so it may be that it's just too early. Either way don't worry everyone is different.

I didn't get sick either. Started feeling nauseated quite a bit, usually in the evenings, from around week 9 or 10 to 16, but snacking regularly helped relieve it. I was extremely tired, too, but no classic "morning sickness".

tothesea · 05/02/2011 18:34

No morning sickness in either of two pregnancys. Have felt a little sick and dizzy but like others have said, snacking was the answer. never actually been sick - luck of the draw methinks!

You could be one of the lucky ones and get away with it, or it could be the calm before the storm. My mum says her morning sickness kicked in when she hit 8 weeks. So far I've had a mild nauseous feeling since the day before my BFP, I'm 6 weeks now, and its only slightly worse.

Leilababyno1 · 05/02/2011 19:11

I didn't have any morning sickness as such. Vomited once at around 8 weeksBlush, and then nothing for the rest of my pregnancy- am now 28 weeks.

Some people don't get sickness, often if your mum didn't have any- you won't.

Basketcase28 · 05/02/2011 19:58

Another one here with no morning sickness whatsoever - and i discovered i was pregnant at approx 5 weeks. The only symptom i had was slightly tender breasts.

In the beginning was really worried at my lack of 'normal pregnancy symptoms' - but am now 38 weeks, and just consider myself very lucky.

Of course, i'll probably have a terrible labour to make up for the fact i had a relatively straight-forward pregnancy Hmm

Thanks for the advice :D it probably is helping that I constantly eat! Have always had to eat every few hours as food seems to disappear as soon as I've eaten it lol.
Also I suppose as my job (teacher) is sooooo busy guess I don't have time to concentrate on myself!

The statistics I found were: 50% of people throw up. 25% of people on top of that get some nausea. Which means 25% get away with it completely! And, more importantly, 50% don't throw up.

Which has included me, and I am now 14 weeks so I doubt it's going to start this late. Hoorah!

Lucky cow Grin

I spent between 10-12 today being sick (thought it might be a tummy bug at one point) have been fine all afternoon and now feel sick again. Am 7 weeks and terrified what I'll do on Monday when I'm at work - my office really isn't near the loo!

owlbooty · 05/02/2011 20:28

Tupperware box in desk drawer?

Sorry, not helpful I know Grin

I didn't get any morning sickness with my first and didn't have many pregnancy symptoms either, other than just bloated. My sister had all classic symptoms, and sadly had a miscarriage.

I am now 6 weeks into my second pregnancy and have been throwing up for the last couple of days whenever I eat a large meal. Most strong smells are turning my stomach too, so a very different pregnancy!
